Natural-Looking Enhancements
for an Authentically Renewed You

Neuromodulator injectables can help you achieve natural-looking results that enhance your features, not alter them.

Neuromodulators are purified proteins that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to help soften lines and create a smoother, more youthful appearance. They’re minimally invasive and administered by our experienced esthetician, Melissa.

At Dr. Joe’s, we prioritize your comfort and satisfaction. Book your appointment, and let us guide you through a transformation that aligns with your personal aesthetic goals.

Benefits
of Aesthetic Injectables

Injectables can offer multiple benefits:

  • Reduce wrinkles & fine lines: Soften creases around your eyes, forehead, nose, lips, and chin.
  • Enhance lip shape: Achieve a subtle lift for a more defined smile.
  • Diminish gummy smile: Relax upper lip muscles to reveal less gum tissue when you smile.
  • TMJD Relief: Manage temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction by relaxing the muscles involved in clenching & grinding.

Injectables FAQ

Commonly treated areas include:

  • The forehead
  • Around the eyes (crow’s feet),
  • Between the brows (frown lines)

Botox can help improve the appearance of:

  • A droopy or gummy smile
  • Chin dimpling
  • Sharp jawlines

We’ll discuss your specific concerns and recommend a tailored treatment plan to achieve your desired results.

Results typically last 3–4 months but can last up to 4–6 months. The muscles gradually return to their original functionality, and creases can reappear over time. Regular touch-up treatments can help maintain your desired look.

The number of touchups you need depends on individual factors like muscle strength and desired results. You may benefit from an injectable treatment every 3–4 months, depending on how long your original results last.

Melissa will go over the specifics with you during your consultation.

We apply a topical anesthetic before your treatment to help minimize discomfort. Most patients tolerate the procedure well. Melissa will discuss your discomfort tolerance during your consultation so we can make adjustments to enhance your comfort.

Botox vs. Dysport:
Understanding Your Options

Botox and Dysport are both popular injectable treatments for reducing wrinkles and fine lines. While they share some similarities, they also have distinct characteristics that may make one a preferred choice.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your individual needs and aesthetic goals. During your consultation, Melissa will carefully assess your facial anatomy, areas of concern, and desired outcomes before recommending an injectable.

Botox is well-established for its wrinkle-relaxing effects and can address many areas, including frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Botox may take slightly longer to show results, but its effects can last up to 4–6 months.

Dysport works similarly to Botox, but the diluted formula spreads more readily, making it a good option for treating larger areas like the forehead. Some patients experience slightly faster results with Dysport, but the overall duration is comparable.
